We will never upload any of your photos to our servers. Actually, we don’t even have any servers.

Everything stays on your device

All of DAMA’s smart detection and redaction — finding faces and sensitive details, then blurring them — runs entirely offline on your device. Your photos and videos are never sent to us or to any third party.

Face data

To help you hide faces before sharing, DAMA detects where faces are in a photo you choose to edit, using Apple’s on-device Vision framework. It only locates faces so it can mask them — it does not perform facial recognition, does not identify anyone, and never creates a faceprint or other biometric identifier.

We do not collect, store, transmit, or share any face data or biometric information. Detected face locations exist only in memory while you are editing and are discarded as soon as you finish. They are never sent to us or to any third party.

Information we collect

None. DAMA has no account and no servers, and collects no personal information from you.
